We are entering a strange new period where the definition of work is being rewritten in real time. Activities that once felt like distractions are becoming central to how people create value, and activities that once symbolized work are starting to look outdated.
For years, writing long stretches of code or reports was considered real work. It was concrete, visible, and measurable. But AI is changing that. The hard part is no longer typing.
